Refund Policies

Refund policies for each program are listed below. If you have any questions about these policies please contact the club treasurer.

Fall Season

The Vail Valley Lacrosse Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We work hard to keep registration costs as low as possible while providing an exceptional experience for our players. Because registration fees are immediately invested into our operating budget to prepare for the upcoming season, we adhere to the following refund schedule. All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to Taylor Chavez at taylor@vaillax.com. Refund Schedule - Full Refund: Requests submitted before the registration close date for the specific season/program. - 75% Refund: Requests submitted after the registration close date, but before the season/program begins. - No Refund: Requests submitted after the season/program has officially started. Exceptions & Special Circumstances - Injuries: If a player suffers an injury that prevents them from participating, a partial or full refund may be considered after the registration deadline. These are evaluated by the Board of Directors on a case-by-case basis. - General Exceptions: Any other extenuating circumstances are subject to review and approval by the Board of Directors. Fall Vail Lax Jam

Weather & Cancellation Policy The Vail Lax Jam is a snow-or-shine event. Games will be played in rain, snow, cold temperatures, and other typical fall weather conditions. Vail Valley Lacrosse Club reserves the right to delay, modify, shorten, relocate, or cancel games or tournament activities when conditions are determined to be unsafe, including severe weather, lightning, unsafe field conditions, or other circumstances beyond the tournament’s control. Registration fees are non-refundable due to weather-related delays, schedule changes, shortened games, cancellations, or other circumstances beyond the control of Vail Valley Lacrosse Club. Teams should come prepared to play in changing mountain weather conditions and are responsible for monitoring tournament communications for schedule or weather-related updates. Requests for refunds must be received in writing/email by the indicated dates below. • Full refund for cancellations made 14 days prior to the scheduled event. • No refund for requests made within 7 days of the scheduled event • Exceptions made on a case-to-case basis. Spring Vail Lax Jam

VAIL LAX JAM Requests for refunds must be received in writing/email by the indicated dates below. • Full refund for cancellations made 8 days prior to the scheduled event • No refund for requests made within 7days of the scheduled event • Exceptions made on a case-to-case basis. Spring Season

VVLC Camp/Clinic Requests for refunds must be received in writing/email by the indicated dates below. • Full refund for cancellations made 14 days prior to the scheduled event • 75% refund for cancellations made withing 13 -7 days prior to the scheduled event • No refund for requests made within 7days of the scheduled event • Exceptions made on a case-to-case basis with review from the Board members By completing registration, you agree to the refund policy.
